You can connect Letterdrop to ChatGPT to interact with your Letterdrop workspace directly. The integration works through MCP with OAuth authentication, allowing ChatGPT to access actions inside your Letterdrop workspace.
Follow the steps below depending on the tool you use.
Connect Letterdrop to ChatGPT
Enable Developer Mode in ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT
- Click your Profile → Settings
- Navigate to Apps → Advanced Settings
- Turn Developer Mode ON

You’ll now see a Create App button besides Advanced Settings.

Create the Letterdrop App
- Click Create App
- Fill in the app details:
- Name: Letterdrop
- MCP Server URL: https://mcp.letterdrop.com
- Keep Authentication = OAuth

Add OAuth Credentials
- Click Advanced Settings

- You will need the OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret from Letterdrop here’s how to find them:
- In Letterdrop, go to Settings → Integrations
- Scroll down to MCP: Access from Claude and ChatGPT
- Go to the ChatGPT tab
- Copy the following details:
- OAuth Client ID
- OAuth Client Secret
Get your MCP credentials from Letterdrop

- Paste the following values from Letterdrop:
- OAuth Client ID
- OAuth Client Secret
- Click Create App
Approve Workspace Access
After creating the app:
- You’ll be redirected to a Letterdrop authorization page
- Make sure you’re logged into Letterdrop in the same browser
- Click Approve next to your workspace

Once approved, ChatGPT will return you to the chat interface and Letterdrop will appear as an enabled app.

Use Letterdrop in ChatGPT
- Open a new ChatGPT conversation
- Click the + icon in the chat input
- Select Letterdrop
- Start asking questions or running actions inside Letterdrop
