How to boost posts or comments on LinkedIn with Letterdrop

How to increase impressions by automating likes and comments on an existing post from your team

Purpose

The Boost feature amplifies the reach of a LinkedIn post, repost, or comment by enabling you to automate likes, automate comments, or request comments/ reposts from your team, without you needing to manually ask them. Please note that it can only be applied to posts that have already been published.

Who this guide is for

✅ You want to automate engagement such as likes and comments from your team without having to ask them, so that you can reach more buyers.

❌ Your buyers don’t use LinkedIn.

❌ You want to create a new post on LinkedIn and automate engagement on it.

Use Cases

  1. You already published a post on LinkedIn and want to increase impressions to your post
  1. You are a SDR, AE, or Founder interacting with a thread that's relevant to the Product you sell, and want to bump your comment to the top of the thread for visibility.
  1. You want to show support to a partner or prospect by having your team like their post

To automate likes from team members: Select the individuals you want to like the post from the dropdown menu under "automate likes from these accounts." You can optionally modify the like emoji on the right side. Choose the timeframe for the likes to be applied. To automate comments from team members: Click on the + Add Comment button below “Automate comments.” These will roll in over 30 minutes without permission from the poster. To request comments or reposts from team members: Click on the dropdown under “Request a comment or repost” and choose the people you would like to request them from.

💡
Pro Tip: Encourage your team to comment rather than repost. The LinkedIn algorithm favors comments over reposts as they're viewed as more proactive.

When you request a comment or repost, this is what your team member will receive. They'll receive an email that directs them to a screen where they can edit their comment, input an AI suggestion if desired, and then post the comment or repost the content:
