How to Install the Companion Chrome Extension for Users
Use Letterdrop functionality natively in LinkedIn
Letterdrop works with a companion Chrome extension, Social Selling, to bring functionality natively to LinkedIn.
How to install it?
In order for the Chrome extension to work, you need to:
- Connect your LinkedIn to Letterdrop by signing in with OAuth
- Enter your work email
- Download the Chrome extension
Ask your admin for a link. They can find it in Letterdrop under Settings → Integrations → LinkedIn → Connected Accounts.
Your admin at Letterdrop will give you a link that looks something like this:

(don’t actually click on this - get it from your admin)
Opening it will take you to a page to let you sign into LinkedIn and authorize Letterdrop.
Once authorized, you’ll be asked to provide your work email address. Letterdrop will send email notifications to this address for notifications and approvals.
You’ll also be asked to install a companion Chrome extension.
Once installed, you can find the extension here:
Clicking on it will open a dialog that looks like this.
If you already connected your LinkedIn and signed in as outlined in the above steps, you’re done. You will automatically be logged into the right Letterdrop workspace. You should see your company workspace listed up top if you are signed in correctly.
