How to connect WordPress to Letterdrop
Who this guide is for
✅ You are on a paid plan on Letterdrop and looking to connect WordPress.
❌ You are on a a free trial on Letterdrop, which doesn’t include support with connecting Wordpress.
Install Letterdrop WordPress Plugin
Download the following ZIP file with the Letterdrop WordPress plugin.
In WordPress, click on Plugins in the left menu.

Click on Upload in the top right

Drop the ZIP file you downloaded here.

Once installed, if you refresh your screen, you’ll see a new item in your left menu called Letterdrop.

Copy API Key from Letterdrop to WordPress
Log in to Letterdrop. Go to Settings → Integrations → scroll down to API and Webhooks → copy the API key

Go back to WordPress and click on Letterdrop in the left menu that was saw earlier.
Paste your API key and click Save Changes.

Amazing, now WordPress can tell Letterdrop when a post is updated! Let’s setup the other way round too.
Connect Letterdrop to WordPress with Application Password
In Letterdrop, go to Settings → Integrations → scroll down to WordPress → click on Connect

Find your WordPress site URL in the top left of WP Admin

Enter your WordPress site’s URL from above in Letterdrop and click Create password.

Once entered, you’ll be directed to authorize a connection between WordPress and Letterdrop.
Click on “Yes, I approve of this connection”

That’s it! You’re done. If you go to Settings → Blog → you’ll see a new destination created for WordPress. You can now publish content to that destination.
